Carrie adopts the new format, Mom shows us where all the snow went and Sarah gives us the play. I have to go to bed though. More comments to follow I’m sure... [yawn]. Yes, that was the last week of another year of Four States. Next week, The new format for year three! How crazy is that? Remember, three photos and a short (or long) paragraph. Rock it, family!

Week 51

Aww, really? We’re down to the final 2 weeks and it’s only Carrie and me? You other 3 better come up with some great shots next week. Jimmy, chime in here. We need middle America to represent!

AND... Here are the rules for next year: 3 photos, 1 paragraph. Yes, I’m limiting the photos, but adding a writing element. I know we’re all good writers and it’s only once a week. None of this, “I won’t have time” business either. You have a whole week. You’re sitting down enjoying a cup of coffee or something, put down the tv remote and jot down a paragraph. Make it a Saturday morning ritual. It doesn’t have to be long, 3 to 5 sentences is fine. It doesn’t even have to relate to the photos. It can be a reflection or rant or anything you want. But those are the rules! I know we can all do it. Complaints will fall of deaf ears. You’ll thank me after a year when you see what we’ll create. No protesting by not doing. Your grade in this class will suffer if you do not participate. If you want to try it out in your last post of this year, please do. Thank you.

Week 50

Only 2 weeks left in the year. We’ve gotten pretty sloppy this year. We’ll have to do better next year. I need to spice it up with a different concept though. Suggestions?

Carrie, awesome country picture of Carson and who says Mom didn’t let me play with a bow and arrow? What she didn’t know, she couldn’t say no to. Insert devious laugh here. By the way, Holy Crap what a cute girl posted by David this week! Haha.

All these snow photos from the New Yorkers. I don’t see what the big deal is. Haha. Wow! Incredible. Mom and Sarah documented that madness well while Carrie shows off stuff in her kitchen and the early works of an amazing artist. Great stuff this week. I need to sleep. G’night.

Week 48

Have some interesting abstracts from Mama this week. Kind of eery those lights in the dark. Carrie sends a gaggle of devil-eyed children (for some reason my new version of Aperture didn’t want to get rid of the red-eye) and blue skies. Sarah is obviously bitter that I haven’t done the back post yet, but hopefully I will remedy that this week. Also, it’s week 48. There are 52 weeks in a year. What does that mean? Only a month left in year 2. I have to say the once a week is definitely less satisfying then once a day. We’ll see what next year brings. Once a month? Had an all store meeting tonight and appts at 7am tomorrow so good night.
